Apoidea - an art exhibition about bees - includes video works, drawings, sound works, paintings, sculptures and installations by six contemporary artists who each give their perspectives on bees.

The exhibition is a collaboration between Nässjö konsthall and Eksjö Museum and includes works by artist Cecilia Edefalk, Anders Knutsson, Anx Kupiainen, Håkan Rehnberg, Erik Sjödin och Ulrika Sparre. Curated by Kalinka Ussing och Pia Löfgren. The programme also included workshops - which were cancelled due to covid-19 - and a lecture by curator and philosopher Sue Spaid. With the exhibition the curators and artists hope to expand human centric perspectives on our world and increase knowledge about the significance of bees.

Erik Sjödin contributed with The Political Beekeeper's Library and illustrations reproduced from originals in the library.
